Last but not least, affordability is obviously an important feature.  I found the prices for Host Gator to be among the best available.  The 350 GB plan mentioned above is only $4.95 per month, the 600 GB plan only $7.95 and the big 1000 GB plan only $12.95 per month.  Those are exceptional values.
