My Golden Aweber Subscribers List Page… (NOW YOURS!)
by rayjohnson | February 28, 2008 | under List Building | Comments (6)
I don’t know about you, but it REALLY used to annoy me, when I first started trying to build a subscriber list. I would set up the optin-form on my squeeze page, then use eBay, PPC, Articles, Ezine Ads etc etc to drive traffic to the page (long before I understood the POWER of JV’s too
All would SEEM well until I checked the stats I had received in my autoresponder account. It would say something like this…
TODAYS SIGNUPS TODAY: 39
CONFIRMED TODAY: 11
UNCONFIRMED TODAY: 28
Whats the problem here? Can you see it?
Well out of a potential 39 NEW subscribers to my list - I only confirmed 11!
The reason WHY?
All because the subscriber has chosen not to subscribe or simply forgot to check their email after signup!
That’s BASICALLY putting a torch to your money in 2 ways:
- 1. Throwing away immediate backend sales
- 2. Throwing away potential rapport building with this subscriber for long term sales
So I came up with my OWN idea on how to supercharge my subscriber list – call it a ‘lightbulb’ moment…
All is revealed in my latest FREE video and you can even download the template for my idea BELOW the video link. I included the FREE download in the video – BUT for some strange reason Camtasia 5 screwed up, so MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST, BEFORE downloading!
STEP 1: WATCH THE VIDEO HERE
STEP 2: DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATE HERE
Please feel free to leave your comments below – as I know you are going to find this one very useful! Enjoy

Hi Ray!
Just watched your video about how to get people to confirm their subscription…love it man!
I do this myself, but you gave me some great tips on how to improve it.
I`m on it

Hi Joern
Thanks for the comment, this is such a simple but effective method of confirming the subscribers on your list, that many people actually overlook it!
I’m glad you found it helpful.

I just found your blog Ray and I must say I am glad I did. You give out sound information for newbies and I am glad to see a fellow countryman doing so well.
I think you have given me the final kick up my procrastinating ass to get myself a list, although I am doing OK without one.
I’ll be back…

Haha,
Thanks Terry – it is all about taking action..
You don’t need to get it right first time, you just need to get it going… remember that one
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
