Why I’m NOT Promoting Butterfly Marketing 2.0…

Hi there,

Ray here with a quick post for you today.

No doubt you have heard all about Mike Filsaime’s super huge launch coming up on the 24th March 2009, for Butterfly Marketing 2.0 haven’t you?

If you haven’t heard – where the heck have you been! :)

I’ve already received like 50 pre-launch emails since yesterday… (I’m not kidding)

Well, to reinforce that hype message, you are going to be receiving an OVERLOAD of hyped-sodden emails from every marketer under the sun about how cool BM2.0 is (…it REALLY is) and no doubt some super crazy bonus package offers too!

…and while this has its good side, to inform you that you can get this awesome script that I personally paid $1497.00 for last year, for FREE.

BUT it also has it’s down side, and that’s making you lose focus in YOUR online business!

The trick with launches like this is to decide:

  • a) Do you really need the product? (free or not)
  • b) Willl it benefit your business?
  • c) Will I lose focus on what I’m currently doing by getting too deeply involved in the launch?

Well in my honest opinion Butterfly Marketing is easily the best purchase I have ever made and has added thousands of subscribers to my list, and banked me $1000′s – here’s 2 of my own Butterfly sites, and some stats from my business:

    I know the OTO’s are how you make money from free offers but when I get 3, or more before I am allowed to download the free item, I quite often leave without even downloading the offer. One or two I accept but more just pisses me off, what are your views on these OTO’s?

    As for the OTOs I only EVER offer an OTO and an OTO (lower price, e.g. removal of a bonus) for the same reason you state.

    I don’t want to annoy subscribers via the BM site, as the relationship with them is of paramount inportance.

    Why destroy the chances of a long term business relationship with a subscriber for the sake of a few one time offers?

    Remember that and apply the same principles to YOUR business online.

    I could cancel right away I suppose but that is not in the spirit of reciprocity is it? Some people will nab the goods and run but it wouldn’t feel right for me.

The start-up, being the initial “purpose”is so important to any business venture.

    As for the newsletter subscription… well let me just say this. I have been a paid subscriber since day one. This thing is a robust magazine JAM PACKED with knowledge, tips, tricks and advice. This thing has double the content of most ebooks that people are spending $67 + for online. Just 2 things I’ve learned in the that newsletter have added an additional $5000 per month of residual income to my business. That is not something to laugh at.

    So in my humble opinion, anyone that is even considering the whole “snatch the software ditch the newsletter concept” is just plain silly.
    I am promoting Butterfly Marketing 2.0 and including my exclusive Butterfly Tactics bonus to help people even further.

    I very nearly bought BM last year but realised I wasn’t ready for it so held off, the way I see it is, I was going to pay 1497 for it, that will buy me quite a few months of Newsletters and if they’re good enough for Omar they’re good enough for me.
