Video Tour Of My New Office! (PLUS Ask Us Anything?)
by rayjohnson | January 6, 2010 | under Internet Marketing | Comments (49)
Hi everyone,
Ray Johnson here with the news I’ve been wanting to share with you for weeks now….
FINALLY after much two-ing and fro-ing, viewings and headaches, I have moved into my new office.
I’ve prepared a special video for you that reveals all…
(Just click the play button below to view)
I have also prepared a few pics for you that show all the above and more in a little more detail…

The Office

The Office Entrance…

My 7 Series BMW Frosting Over In The SUB ZERO Temperatures!
So that’s about it —> I have gone from knowing ZERO about internet marketing to having my own office, whilst transforming my life in the process, and all by GIVING powerful information that helps people achieve THEIR goals online.
This should be YOUR goal online in 2010, but we all have to START somewhere, so whether you DON’T currently have a website, or a subscriber list, or whether you are not currently making the money you deserve online – just stay tuned this year for some cracking free advice, tips, knowledge and one or two products
that will help you move forward no end.
As I said in the video, I have joined forces now with Robert Black my new business partner – and this means that we can create a TON of products (we are aiming for 10-12 new products this year alone) that will help you move forward in leaps and bounds, and the best part???
We are now called Web3.0Marketing – and for good reason…
All our new products will redefine internet marketing and show you how to maximise your success, with step by step videos, powerful content and advice, we ARE aiming to reinvent the wheel – it’s entirely necessary to change the way YOU think about Internet Marketing – to reveal actually how simple it can be to achieve success you perhaps only dreamed of at this stage….
So stay tuned, and follow us (or anyone YOU feel can help you move forward) this year and MAKE 2010 GREAT!
Before I go, let me know in your comments how myself and Robert can help you this year. TELL US in your comments where you are struggling online, why you think you may not have had the amazing success you want so far… we’ll be delighted to help and wil PERSONALLY reply to your comments.
Finally, a note from Robert:
Hi there
I’m Robert Black and I’m delighted to announce the new business partnership between Ray Johnson and I. Ray and I have known each other for a couple of years, originally I joined his mentoring program to learn more about internet marketing. Since then I’ve actually got involved with a number of his projects; I’ve written ebooks and recorded training videos for some of his products (amongst them Outsource2Success and Adswap Master Class) as well as writing a couple of guest posts on his blog.
Obviously you will know about Ray’s background, he’s been making good money online for a few years now to the extent that he is well qualified to teach others how to do the same. So what about me, what are my credentials?
Well, I built up a very successful offline sales and marketing business in the UK for over 20 years, dealing with all kinds of businesses ranging from small corner shops through to large multi-nationals. We (I say we because I was also an employer) were the clear leader in our sector with around 40% share of one of the most competitive markets around today, and ours was one of the most expensive. Price is NOT everything!
In 2007 I could foresee major problems in the British housing market and the wider economy so I decided it was time to get out! I sold both the business and the house before the economy nosedived, and emigrated to Turkey. At the age of 44 I was technically retired but I didn’t fancy sitting around all day doing nothing. So I got into internet marketing and that’s where I met Ray.
My online speciality, as those of you who have dealt with me and are on my mailing list will know, is resell rights. Over the years I doubt anyone else online has acquired a larger collection of QUALITY resell rights products than I. Yes I am well aware of all the overhyped resell rights sites out there, I have been a member of all of them. Most have fewer products on their whole $97 a month membership site than I have in just one subcategory! So watch this space…
Anyway, we decided to pool our resources and combine our online and offline knowledge so that we can show people how to really make money online. Not the old standard “guru formula” of making money online by telling other people how to make money online! That mostly just makes money for the guru – I know because I have probably wasted upwards of $30,000 on pointless ebooks, video courses, and worst of all….the dreaded sales pitchfests, sorry I meant seminars!
Ray and I are going to be doing things a little differently to everyone else as you’ll see over the coming weeks and months. Did you know most of the money made online has NOTHING to do with selling “make money online” products? You wouldn’t think so listening to the so-called experts would you?
So how does this benefit you?
Tell us why you aren’t making money online, tell us what is stopping you, tell us what aspects of internet marketing you don’t understand, what parts of internet marketing you love or you hate, what products you would like us to create. In short give us as much feedback as you can about what you need to make 2010 a truly successful year online.
Can’t wait to hear from you!
To a great new year
Robert
So there you have it
Thanks again to you all for allowing us to help you this year – and to YOUR SUCCESS!
Ray and Robert
(I must get used to this!

Happy New Year and Congratulations on the new office and business arrangement.
Office looks great for functionality, as you rightly say it seems perfect for the purpose. A good environment with limited distractions so that you can focus on your business and delivering value for your subscribers and business associates (not that you don’t already!!).
Look forward to continuing to learn and work with you this year.
All the best

Hi Ray,Happy new year, hope you can give me some advice. Been online on and off for about 8 years tried a few things (ebay being the most successful) hence I come across your old site. Still interested in Ebay but my problem is information overload I start one thing get an email get side tracked start another thing so on and so on then end up earning nothing.
Got any advice for some one like me?
Cheers

Hi Ray and Robert
This is GREAT news.
Since I know both you guys: Ray as a mentor and friend. Robert as a friend and collaborator; I have to say I’m delighted that you’ve decided to combine your considerable talents and expertise to extend the range of your business interests.
Best wishes for the new decade.
I’m looking forward to working with you boht in the near future.

Hi Chris
Personally I have been blessed with focus.
Not like I’m blowing my own trumpet, but if I can make several sites and build a 20,000+ list with the priori distractions I have mentioned in my video then I deeply feel ANYONE CAN.
My best advice would be to get a room in the house and dedicate it to work, whether it be the bedroom or spare room etc.
Dedicate yourself working hours just like in employment – and stick to them, planning out your day in advance and planning the next day at the end of the first.
Make a checklist of to-do’s in the day and simply DO THEM!
Don’t let anything come in between you and some success.
It WILL happen but you NEED to make it happen, using those tips – you’ll be on the right track.
Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.
Regards and all the best,
Ray and Rob

Hi Antony
Thanks so much for the wishes and have a great 2010 yourself.
You have what it takes, just DO as you are and in time it will happen for you too (as I have ALWAYS said to you!
Just remember what I told you about becoming a DOER and not a prospect – espescially when we release all our brand new cutting edge products this year!
All the best, and keep the momentum going.

I am sure you will be able to produce some amazing products this year, and with your determined focus, you will!
renewed focus is what is going to make everything happen this year, I’m going to stick to my plan to achieve my goals I have written down. I have even shared them with everyone over at my blog so that I am accountable to all now!
A great feeling and following you Ray and Robert will keep me on track.
All the very best success for 2010.

Happy New Year and thanks to you!
Gotta achieve them goals – and hopefully SMASH them.
Definitely a good move to hold yourself accountable to your subscribers, they’ll certainly go off elsewhere if you dont and LOVE you even more when you deliver….
Maybe this is a lesson for ALL subscribers reading this comment

Hey Tim (and bob Beckett too!)
Thanks and a happy new year to you both man!
Yeah, offices are not for everyone, it depends on how your lifestyle is and how you want it – not to mention the distractions!
The best advice I can give is dont have 4 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats – it’s a distraction disaster
On a serious note though, any increase in productivity has got to be a good one. List grows faster, product portfolio grows faster, expert staus grows faster = the rest is a gimme!
Enjoy 2010 and hopefully we can do some JV’s right?

Happy New Year To Everyone and
Congratulations Ray for the new office. Its better than the old one
http://ray-johnson.co.uk/blogpostpics/homeoffice1.jpg
Is it a coincidence that you and John Thornhill moved in a new office this week?
Having a real office (not an office in your house) increases productivity. I sometimes stay at the office after work (OFFline job) and work on my ONline business. I noticed that I am achieving more in 1 hour than when I am working for 5 hours on my online business in the office at home!
Working from home has so many distractions!
I am currently working in a regular offline job and havent really succeeded online yet for these reasons.
1. I am not focusing enough and I easily get distracted .
2. I dont have a big list. My current subscribers list is now about 3,000.
3. I dont have enough of my own information products.
4. I dont have any JVs partners.
I would like you to help me build bigger I.M. lists fast by promoting my squeeze pages, create and launch a product, get access to JV partners etc.
By the way will you offer again the same bonus for “Multi Profit Websites” now that has John reopened?

Hi everyone
Thanks for all the comments, happy new year to all of you! Really looking forward to working together with Ray and all of you.
We’ve got loads of great things planned and we’re going to be doing things a LOT differently from the dreaded gurus
So keep your comments coming in – what’s good and bad about IM, what you like/hate about IM, what you don’t understand, what you do understand, what’s stopping you from succeeding. Lack of knowledge? Lack of money? Lack of motivation? We’ve ALL been there…
We want to hear all of it – so we can help each other.
Cheers

Hi Andreas
Happy New Year to you.
JT and me getting new offices is purely coincedental (and remember JT is moving onto his 2nd larger office – hopefully I’ll be there in 12 months or less!)
To help you out:
1. I am not focusing enough and I easily get distracted.
Have a read of my previous comment about dedicated work area and rules, and keeping to them.
2. I dont have a big list. My current subscribers list is now about 3,000.
Google Adswap Groups, use the Warrior Forum, JVListbuilding.com and creater a simple free offer to give away to grow a list which you can educate over time into receptive subscribers.
3. I dont have enough of my own information products.
Make an audio product then, pick up the phone or Skype and record an interview – check out my mentoring student Antony Cecil Wrights http://www.1k-in-30-days.com for living proof.
4. I dont have any JVs partners.
Go through Google and find respected marketers you want to JV with – use a FIREFOX ADDON called SEOpen which will gather their contact info then make a list and keep growing it daily. Approach your list with an email offering to do a squeeze page swap initially and as you make a product PROMOTE THEM first in the hope to get a reverse promo back.
RE: MPW – I won’t be offering the bonus slots for this until after our own launch around January 20th this year. Keep your eyes peeled for this one, it will reveal powerful strategies that we’ve used to make $10,000 and 6000 subscribers in just 7 days.
Hope this helps,
Ray

Congrats on the office move matey, wait till you see how much more you’re going to get done. Moving to an office was the best thing I ever done and I know it’s going to be the same for you.
Good luck this year.

Hi Ray,
The office looks great plenty of space.
I have been online for several years now and although I have things up online I have failed to get enough traffic or enough sales. I have been trying affiliate marketing.
My main problem is a financial one as I do not have the money for pay per click etc. I have tried twitter but still no results,
I think I need a good product to give away to get my list up and running.
Trust you could advise me
Christine

Hey Ray,
Great for you to open you new office. I can’t imagine the distractions you had with the houseful you had. I bet your productivity will go way up.
I built an office in my basement but it’s not far enough away from all the distractions and it’s only me and my wife and two cats. Maybe if I lock all the doors, disconnect the phones and turn out the lights no one will bother me anymore.
Good Luck in your new office Ray.

Hi John,
Thanks a lot mate – appreciate it!
Yep, I’m hoping to churn out a load more products now and obviously move forward bigtime this year.
I’ll be looking forward to see your 25 person office
on your next move mate – you deserve much success too!
Here’s to making our subscribers a LOT more income in 2010…

[Reply]
Hi Christine
Sounds like a great move to me.
Get things going – (they dont have to be perfect to begin with) a free product is a fantastic start… to build that list gradually and the odd sale will come from that.
Obviously the larger the list you make has larger scope for more sales, so FOCUS all your effort on building it.
If you need help let me know.

Hi Jeff
Hehe, I got this particular office yes to maximise my productivity, AND sized it right so there is room for expansion in the future.
I suppose it might be a bit big for one right now – but also I had to consider a video area, and basically modelled in on John Thornhills office (cheers JT!)
Mind you I’ve got the XBOX 360 for times when I want to relax, so it’s safe to say I wont need to lock myself away
Thanks for posting Jeff and good luck in 2010!

Hi Ray and Robert, I have corresponded with both you guys, in the past and, was corresponding with You Robert whilst you were making your move to Turkey … Hope you’re settled in and enjoying it now that you’re there
)
Anyway …. Having spent nearly as much as you guys on all the ‘fluff’ that is out there … here I STILL am, still trying to find the ‘magic’ that DOES all this ….. ANY help would be a great help.
What is my problem? ….. Marketing. I just cannot get my head around all the things that need to be done and, struggle to accept most of the so-called logic of itall.
Best Regards, David
[Reply]
Hi David – thanks for commenting!
OK marketing —> the be all and end all of this game….
Simple really, heres the formula I use.
Grow a list from either a paid or free product, then maintain good rapport by giving away great information, and in most cases great products that truly benefit peoples lives.
GIVE IT AWAY, and you’ll reap the rewards when you come to launch a product.
“Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day… TEACH him to fish and he’ll feed himself for a lifetime….”
You want to be teaching in your givings, become an authority and youll gradually grow a base of loyal followers who ultimately end up buying your products, building your list – then just rinse and repeat.
The power is totally in giving first.
Hope this helps!

Hi Ray,
Great office, thank you for showing.
I have a few sites including a squeeze page
offering free samples of a few full products.
My question is, there are many strategies
out there to gain traffic like writing articles,
video on Youtube, bookmarking, social sites,
PPC, backlinks, using upload.com, JV,
adswaps etc etc.
What would you best recommend to actually
‘do’ to drive the traffic on a daily basis?
The reason I ask is the many emails now
I receive sharing the many strategies and
techniques, then I get another email with
something interesting and it goes on. All this
is good for the learning but it’s deciding on
what one is going to do to move forward.
Going through the emails learning about this
and that can take all day! it’s like if I don’t read
them I might miss something, know what I mean?
Bye the way I got MPW through your link:)
Thank you, take care.
Tony [near Braintree, Ben:)
P.S. Ray I did send you an email for a possible JV
but you didn’t reply, either you not receive it or my
offer wasn’t good enough [probably my experience
level at the time:( Anyway see yer for now.
[Reply]
Hi Tony
Thanks for commenting and happy new year to you.
My advice in all honesty to you is the same as I have given on other replys I have made on the blog…
FORGET all the other offers you are enticed with, you need to become and think like a marketer and NOT a customer or prospects.
You need to do something (which you have, you have built squeeze page sites)
Next you need to drive traffic to those sites from adswap or JV partners.
Just contact marketers via email like you did with me, and you’ll either:
A) get a reply
B) get no reply
C) setup the adswap/jv you want to drive the traffic where you want it.
This is basically all there is to it.
Keep creating more adswap opportunities and you can even monetise these by plugging an offer into the backend – (I use our DVD products for this)
You can even create full blown products and launching them will make some money and get new subscribers too.
Building that list is all important tho because MOMENTUM is what will get you NOTICED (eg if you promote other launches) —> get on a leaderboard and this is when you’ll get other marketers wanting to promote for you….
TIME is the key, with daily action be taken – you’ll get there, ANYONE can do I.M.!
Keep up the good work, and yes we cando a swap, just email me again.
Regards
Ray and Rob

Thanks for all the comments, meant to reply before but I spent the whole weekend writing an ebook – for one of the commenters on this thread as it happens
I’ll try and answer some of the questions
@Andreas #15
Ray gave a pretty good answer but let me add my thoughts
1. I am not focusing enough and I easily get distracted –
- procrastination, probably our biggest enemy. Write down a few tasks that you want/need to do every day. Don’t go overboard with this, if you give yourself too many tasks you won’t get any of them done. Do the easiest first, then “reward” yourself when it’s done – have a coffee, take a break, whatever. Then do the next one. It’s also vital to have an uncluttered work space and PC – removing the clutter is one of the best things you can do. There’s a whole load of stuff you can do that helps and I think this is one of the biggest barriers to success. We’re definitely going to be putting together a product about this very soon…
2. I dont have a big list. My current subscribers list is now about 3,000-
- That’s a bigger list than a lot of people. Ray gave some really good tips about increasing the size of your list but what I want to add is it is massively important to build a good relationship with your existing subscribers. Send them free tips, keep them happy. Only promote stuff that you feel will be useful to them, and when you do, try and add your own personal seal via unique bonuses etc. If you get emails from your subscribers, reply to them quickly and accurately. Every email you get from a subscriber has the potential to make you money
3. I dont have enough of my own information products –
- 2 words – Resell Rights. Check out some of the posts on my blog – link under “My Favourite Blogs” on the right hand side
4. I dont have any JVs partners-
- to add to Ray’s comments JVNotifyPro is another good place
Cheers
Rob

Hi Christine
“My main problem is a financial one as I do not have the money for pay per click etc. I have tried twitter but still no results”
-One of the best ways of getting free targetted traffic is article marketing, have you tried that? See my post a bit further down for more details
“I think I need a good product to give away to get my list up and running.”
Resell Rights – see above post

@ David #26
Hi David
Good to hear from you again, trust you’re keeping well.
“here I STILL am, still trying to find the ‘magic’ that DOES all this ….. ANY help would be a great help.
What is my problem? ….. Marketing. I just cannot get my head around all the things that need to be done and, struggle to accept most of the so-called logic of itall.”
- I have more than a suspicion that a lot of the “gurus” deliberately make things more complicated than it needs to be – lets them sell you the latest product which will ‘uncomplicate’ things. Right
Forget the internet for a second and think of a traditional offline business, a retail shop. Stripping everything down to bare essentials what does a shop need to be successful?
1. Products to sell (stock)
2. Customers to buy them
That’s essentially all there is to it, that is the logic of it in essence. Now let’s relate all that to internet marketing. The principles of a successful online business are NO DIFFERENT to that of an OFFline business. Sure your marketplace is global rather than local, your costs are MUCH lower, your delivery methods will be different (post or digital download rather than pick up goods in store) and you have a whole load of research and marketing tools at your disposal that the offline marketer doesn’t have. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Keeping it simple, here’s the offline v online equivalents:
Shop = Web site
Stock = Products (your own or affiliates)
Customers = Customers
Local/national advertising to get people to visit your shop = Traffic
That’s all there is to it, the basic principles are the SAME. Just the methods are different. All the other stuff we are bombarded with (Twitter, Facebook, PPC, Youtube, Articles, Viral Marketing etc etc) are traffic generation methods just as local ads, flyers under car windscreens etc are traffic generation methods for OFFline businesses. Once you see it for what it is, it falls into place.
So all you need is a web site and products to sell on it. After that it’s about getting traffic to your site, then making adjustments to your site/products if you’re getting traffic but not the sales. But do the basics first, then work on the rest!
Cheers
Rob

@ Tony # 30
Hi Tony
Your question was about traffic. Have you tried article marketing? It’s one of the simplest and most effective ways of getting traffic. Google loves articles. I played about with a site about 3 years ago using just articles to get traffic. I wrote 10 articles about blood pressure reducing pills and submitted them to 3 article directories. Not touched the site in 3 years, not really bothered about the site but…… I’m still getting 30-70 visitors every day!
Here’s one of the articles, use that as a template if you want:
http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=683098
A few suggestions:
1) Write articles of 4-500 words
2) Put your keyword(s) in the title, in the 1st sentence of your article, again towards the end and as ANCHOR text in the author’s bio box. Don’t overdo the keyword(s) in your article body – twice is enough
3) Make your title interesting, list format works well (7 ways to…, 10 things you must never…., etc)
4) 5 paragraphs – 1st one write what you are going to tell them, paras 2,3 and 4 write about ONE specific point/feature in each, last para conclusion – write about what you told them
5) Write 4 sentences for each paragraph
6) Author’s bio box – the most important part. Anchor text link for your keyword for Google to pick out. Put some intriguing/mysterious type comments in there to get people to click through to your site. DON’T put “Click here for more details” as most do, it doesn’t work
7) Submit articles to these 3 directories(there are thousands of others) but just use these 3 as a minimum to see what happens:
http://www.ezinearticles.com
http://www.goarticles.com
http://www.buzzle.com
You should get traffic within a week and a decent Google ranking (depending on keyword popularity – pick something with less than 500,000 results) within a month.
Let us know how you get on!
Cheers
Rob
