  4. Hi Ray,
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to no only ask questions, but to win a prize too!!

I am confused with uploading plr sites and mini site stuff.
Like if I purchase a complete website with all the graphics, ebooks, source files and all the things that come along with it, what do I do with it? Do I need a new domain or just add to my blog like http://www.rooniehernandez.com/new product name here? how do I upload everything? Just FTP it into the domain?

What is better? If getting a new domain name is the answer, do people have hundreds of domains? how do they get traffic to these domains?
OOPS! That was more than 1 question…I have more but will wait till next week, k??

Take care and God bless!! :)

  5. Ray,

I want to find a way of keeping myself motivated and sticking to just one thing, I keep starting something and when I dont earn any money (not looking for millions, just something to show it is working!) I give up and chase the next shiny object and therefore get nowhere, I know I am doing this but just cant stop!

  6. Just like everybody else, I’m most concerned about traffic.

Traffic is the blood of our business.
I’m an SEO guy myself and didn’t get too much into paid traffic, as such…

However, your insights would be much appreciated on:

What is your best paid traffic source and how would that be compared, side-by-side with say… it’s next in line (thus making it a 2-tip-in-one, ha, ha…)

  7. Hi there Ray, this is a great idea you have come up with and I am sure that it will help out many people.

I’ve been running a couple of websites in different niche areas for nearly 3 years now. I’m making a small income from my graphics design website,, but not enough to retire on :-)
My main proplem which I am sure a lot of other people have is getting traffic to my websites.
Having spent quite a bundle with various “guru’s” on different courses etc. I am still finidng that whatever they have told me to do, it is just not working!!
Another thing that most people will understand, is that there are never enough hours in a day to get everything done that you need to do to generate traffic. Until one has made money to afford to out source these types of jobs like writing and submitting articles, updating blogs and social marketing websites with fresh news and content, I am stuck in a stagnant position of not getting traffic to my websites.
I know this is an age old problem to many website owners, but I was wondering if you knew of an easier way besides out sourcing tasks etc.
    Take care
    Valda

  8. Hi Ray,
My biggest struggle is traffic. I can generate traffic with articles, yahoo answers, etc but if I don’t keep up the work it drops like a rock. Even if I rank high on google and get organic traffic, conversions are poor. I had a physical product test site with Amazon affiliate stuff, reviews, photos, etc, I got traffic and several hundred clicks with zero conversion.

I made some adsense test sites, again few hundred uniques and zero clicks.

The other issue I have is with the list building. It’s just not growing fast enough. What is a good way of growing a list without spending a fortune? I definitely don’t intend to sell out my list to other marketers and flood them with crap product offers. You can grow a list that way but you also get a ton of unsubscribes and pissed off people who don’t want to open your emails anymore. I certainly don’t want that, I want to keep my subscribers happy, but I am struggling to figure out a way to grow my list without selling it out and upsetting my subscribers.

  9. @Lisa if I was you I would purchased a domain name, and try and get one with your keyword in it. Also do some keyword research before you even buy a domain name. Doing keyword research should be the first thing one does before even purchasing a domain name.
For example if you have plr to a product about golf, reasearch keywords on golf and try to get into a micro niche of golf. By micro niche I mean a specific topic in the niche of golf, for example golf is a niche and the terminology of golf would be a micro niche of golf.
These are things that the “guru’s” tend to forget to tell you about after they have taken your hard earned cash.
I am sure Ray will give you more and better ansers so I am going to end now as I don’t want Ray shouting at me :-)
    Take care
    Valda

  12. Hi Ray,

Great idea you have come up with that will benefit many people.

The main are I need help with is with writing emails, specifically swipe emails to promote my own as well as other products.

Not very tangible so to speak but any help in this area would be much appreciated.

There are a couple of others but they can wait for future weeks>

    Many thanks

  13. Hi Ray well today is July 20th so hope I’m not too late getting my comment in for this week as you said comments for this post would be closed on the 20th, hopefully after my post?

Lack of traffic is any marketers #1 concern as it is mine as well and I have been toying with the notion to try Google Adwords and it would be my first one out of the gate and a little worried about putting my credit card on the line with Google even though I understand you can control the bottom line.

I was laid off a little over 2 years ago but just recently got my day job back but it is so different now I want to make my home based business replace this day job and frantically trying to figure all this out I am self taught it’s all about traffic!

    Thanks, Joseph D

  14. Hi Ray -Great idea for a weekly vote. That old brain of your’s keeps buzzing for sure. I’d echo Valda’s comments about traffic; but more specifically targetted traffic, that actually converts. I get a load of spam by using plugins, but who wants that rubbish anyway.

It’s a perennial problem, but as you’ve said many times: it’s about building relationships. One way or another this is the key. Maybe Joint Ventures is a topic people might like covered again???

  15. Hey Ray,
Great idea that we can all benefit from and the extra incentive of a gift is always welcomed.

I have many of the same problems or shall we say roadblocks and hurdles at the others reading yoiur blog.

Traffic, building a responsive list, the technical stuffis all important and we can all learn more about each of these…but

My biggest problem is staying consistant in my efforts. For instance if I get onto list building I concentrate too much time on that end of the business and my blogging, traffic getting and other aspects of my online business suffer. The same goes when I concentrate on blogging – the others suffer.

What I’d like to learn from you is how to put together a PLAN to do each of the important parts of this business in a consistant way. Something we could follow like a step by step plan.

    Thanks again Ray

  16. Hi Ray

I agree with most of the comments here that traffic is probably the most important part of our business but looking at it from another angle. I would love more info on “How to get others to drive the traffic for you”

I know people like yourself are very busy and we appreciate that so how do we go about enticing others like yourself to JV with us and promote our products. Or do we just look for affiliates on Clickbank or paydotcom etc.

Would love your insight into this

    Anton

  17. Ray!

My biggest problem is getting past the information overload. I am bombarded with new offers before I even start the previous offer I may have bought or downloaded as a freebie. So what I have is a bunch of products to implement and a list of other products I would like to get, but nothing accomplished.

What was it for you or what advice could you give the newbie that can get them past the hurdle of information overload and to stop being the marketed to and start being the marketer?

    Thanks!

  18. Hey Ray,

My biggest problem is keeping my list responsive. I have worked hard to build my list, but as it grows the number of click-throughs I get is not increasing. How can I grow fast without killing the responsiveness of my list?

    [Reply]

  19. Ray, we all no the money is in the list. There are plenty of products out there for free we can get. The main problem is after you get that product is if you have no money, and no one to promote it to (list) I no if we all had a list we would start seeing something happen because when we make that first sale, our mind says I can do this. I think this is like a snowball on top of the hill if you push it, It becomes bigger and we start to feel good about ourselves. I know I get burnt out trying to figure out how to get a list and in turn this ruins my motivation for doing anything online. I have five children and work full time and my wife is on disability so our funding is tight. It has taking me three years to build the site I have but know sales. So building or how to build a list in my opinion is the utmost important thing to learn how to do. I feel this would be of interest to us all.
    Thanks,

Where to get quality Adswaps and what a quality adswap is. I use adswaps but this is open to abuse and neglect and your list does not always grow the way you are led to believe. If you could outline the key steps for an effective adswap that would be useful for many people.

    Keep up the good work

  21. Hey Ray,

Right now, I have a problem with Figuring on what to give to my list so they will buy instead of my list just always getting things for free. They say the money is in the list but, not really unless you get them to trust you and want to buy from you. How can you do that? I have tried giving them the best contents as I can but when comes to affiliate promotions, seem like they don’t want to buy. Please let me know. All I want is to have a list so it can at least pay for its own autoresponder service.

Another problem I have is how can I get affiliates to promote products for me. I even try to email them but I have no replies what so ever. I am stressed out. I offer to give 100% to most affiliates that I emailed and still, no one will bite. I don’t know what to do anymore but to find other ways to promote my product. Please, I need answers and this is my only opportunity.

Also, I also want to know, how can you do a launch like you’ve been doing when I’m a little fish? Can you give me a quick step by step process? If not in detail, just the overview and I will figure it out by myself.

Thank You Ray For this Opportunity.
