Some Warrior Forum Moderators - Do They REALLY Understand Internet Marketing?
by rayjohnson | July 2, 2008 | under Internet Marketing |
I used to LOVE the Warrior Forum - and I still do, but as of today, I simply do not understand some of the people called Warrior Moderators!
This post is NOT a rant at the Warrior forum - as the site is a FANTASTIC networking place, and a FANTASTIC revenue generator and I HIGHLY recommend you join up TODAY.
You can do so HERE
When I became successful online, I took the advice of my mentors and began to systemitise and outsource various small areas of my business - the Warrior section was one of these outsource areas… now outsourcing doesn’t have to mean hiring someone from the other side of the earth - you CAN outsource using friends or family members etc… and this is what I did on this occassion.
BIG mistake… so it turns out. I outsourced the WSO’s to my girlfriend, and they went fine for a while, and were very profitable. VERY profitable! $2400.00 in 11 hours is profitable right from just a $10.00 investment :)
However, I used many marketing tactics in my WSO’s such as scarcity, countdown timers, firesales. These are ALL perfectly legal, ethical methods of making money and increasing profits as any serious marketer will know.
The Warrior Moderators proceeded to lock my account. They said I was making my offers appear “more popular” by simply adding a post after every sale - and again as most marketers realise, this was to simply DEMONSTRATE to potential FUTURE customers, that sales were being made and the number of available products was decreasing!
Now, I’ll hold my hands up to one thing…
I was telling my Sonya to post Paypal transaction ID’s in the threads to show real sales - but apparently this wasn’t allowed either, so I immediately got her to comply and remove the Paypal ID’s from the thread in question…
Now moving on, correct me if I am wrong someone, but I believe to this day that you are NOT allowed to post RESALE RIGHTS products on the WSO section of the Warrior Forum UNLESS they are your OWN product… so I purchased a resale rights package - and made it into a UNIQUE product of my own - you can see that product…
It’s called Ray Johnson’s InfoMarketingMadness!
This is now a totally a totally unique product that I OWN, so I proceeded to get Sonya to list it as a WSO Offer on the forum… boom - the next time I came to try and login to my account I could not!
Weeks went by and STILL I couldn’t access my account.
In a measure to find out what was going on I contacted the Mods and got nothing but ludicrous replies, in some cases offensive replies - when all I wanted was a JUST reason! I could post names of moderators here but I do not want to go down that route.
In one particular case, I was called a “whiner”
for simply asking for an answer, so I called this moderator today and was hung up on! Talk about professional!
So today I posted a FINAL message to the moderators in an attempt to get my account back - here it is:
“Hi there
I am writing with respect to my account that was locked out.
The account ID is: XXXXXXXXX
I would like to give me the reasons why the account was locked out, as I have since spoke to Allen (forum OWNER) - and explained my situation.
I am a disabled marketer and relied a lot on the WSO section of the forum, and networking possibilities - I’m in Mike Filsaime’s coaching, have testimonials and am friends with some of the big IM’ers like: Cavanagh, Tom Beal, Reed Floren, Mark Joyner.
I grew my business and began to outsource - including the usage of the Warrior forum for link exposure and WSO’s - and this is where the problems began…
The reason I believe I was suspended is for displaying Paypal transaction ID’s in the posts which was INSTANTLY amended to abide with your forum rules. I BELIEVE you will have the exact reason WHY my account is locked out and that is ALL I ask for. A REASON.
Thanks again”
So I shall await a response from the moderators and see if I can get the account back, that is rightfully mine!
Have you ever had a situation like this on the Warriror Forum? Am I being fair? Are they being fair to me? Let me know by leaving your comments below, and any advice from fellow Warriors is appreciated greatly.

Hi . . . hello Ray
You have my sympathy regarding your problem over at the Warrior Forum. But as a direct of my own experience at the same forum, I certainly would not hold my breath, I hope you will be reenstated on the said forum.
The reason I was kicked off the Warrior Forum was much different to what you have done. I think and continue to beleive I must of stood on someones toes, perhaps several times, so I guess the quickest way to stop me was to boot me off. When that happened there was no warning . . . they don’t need to warn you, because you (I) was guilty in their mind.
Right now, I am still a member odf the Warrior Forum, in fact I opened two new accounts so that I can go over there as and when I fancy. Trouble is these days I don’t feel like it very often.
If it was not for the WSO you like to take advantage of I would advise you to keep away from the Warrior Forum. Take my word they will do you no favours !!!
There are many other forums available, perhaps without the WSO facility, but the Warrior Forum I not what it once was.
If it it knowledge and contact you desire I would suggest you seek out some of the many internet marketing blogs available.
Ray, I wish you well with your Warrior Forum experience but I can’t really see how it will be a good result. Some of the moderators at the Warrior Furum are faceless wonders ready to take advantage of the power that has been bestowed upon them.
Best wishes . . . and Good Luck
Be seeing you . . .

Hi Surfbay
Thanks a million for your “2 cents” on the topic.
I don’t normally get mad, and I am not now - but it is SO laughable. The guy who hung up on me today is nothing short of an a** whole is trying to impress Allen, (the Owner - and great marketer so I have heard).
Power eh? It’s overrated and not ONE of these mods who haver treated me badly will EVER make it online - they are all simply wannabes.
Have you had any experience with Digital Point Forum?
Regards and I’d love to hear from you.
Ray
Hi Ray,
I was wondering why you did not reply to my PM lol !!
I remember both incidents well.
Hope you have some luck in getting reinstated.
Cheers
Tommy
Being your own boss is to me all about independence but the problem is we are still dependant on other people, search engines, hosting, payment processors and the like. They can pull the plug on all or part of your business in a heartbeat and leave you to pick up the pieces.
It’s happened to the best Ray so don’t worry too much about it because you have shown yourself to be strong in adversity. I was kicked off a forum once despite going out of my way to help others while leechers kept their account. No explanation, nothing.
I looked in on that forum a while back and it was like a ghost town whereas before it was buzzing. They were so strict with everyone that they have just about killed it off.
You will often find mods who act like they are something, but most are just trying to do the best for the members.
But it wouldn’t hurt though for them to give you a reason for their action but they probably can’t give you a good one, hence their silence.
Hi Tommy!
Hope you had a GREAT time in Barbados
Yerp, no offence to not repling to you in time - I just couldn’t bloomin login to do so!
You know just HOW popular my guide was over those 2 days don’t you Tommy? Well - It seems I was a victim of my own success!
Takes the mickey doesn’t it…
Anyway - thanks for taking the time to comment - it’s really appreciated
Ray
Terry,
Absolutely spot on in your summary there…
I agree with ALL of your points 200%.
As I said in the post though - I STRONGLY recommend the Warrior Forum out to ALL my readers and all IM newcomers alike - it can be a pretty powerful place to be.
Thanks for your kind comments too RE: adversity, I just try to give as much as I can to all that cross my Blog path - and god help the certain Warrior Mods who cross my blog again!
….AS THAT WAS WHAT I FORGOT TO MENTION - one of the Warrior Mods - was actually here reading mu Blog last week! Talk about point scoring!
Regards
Ray
