How Much Is Each Of Your Customers Worth?

Hey there everyone,

After a relaxing Father’s day yesterday, I feel kinda super-charged today and so wanted to post a small, but VERY important piece of information that is going to be crtical to your success or failure online…

I like to consider myself as a fairly successful marketer now, and have told you for good reason to build a targeted list of subscribers since I began. The main reasons for this are:

  • To build rapport and trust
  • To establish yourself as an expert in your chosen niche
  • To help your subscribers make money so they trust you even more
  • To make money as the list owner by offering products to this list and converting subscribers into customers!
  • And finally, to build this buyers list as big as possible – as only a small percentage of list members will actually buy from you

But, from my point of view as the business OWNER, (and your’s too) there is one more MASSIVELY important reason to building a list that you should know, as it allows you to calculate many things and evaluate and grow your business.

How much money does each of your customers bring in for you? How much is each customer you get, worth to you?

Here’s how you find out:

I apologise for the image quality, but the figure shows LIVE DATA from my business. revealing:

  1. Customers average spend per purchase
  2. Number of purchases from this customer per year
  3. Number of referrals (new customers) this customer makes for you
  4. The length of time this customer REMAINS a customer of yours
  5. The average number of sales, and spend of these referalls

If you have a product of your own, a customer base (no matter how big or small) and have been in business for 1 year or more – then this exercise will be refreshing for you to complete.

As soon as you know the approximate income per customer your business brings you – you’ll see the bigger picture and may be able to expand your business more rapidly than you initially thought…
