An Apology… An “Au Revoir” And An Infomercial?

I’m sat on my laptop right now, with both legs raised on my reclining leather sofas, aching like hell, and I am really struggling to write ANYTHING today… so I apologise from the outset if this post is a bit “out-of-sorts” for me!
I know, probably NOT what you came here to read, but I had to let you know, because you’ll know I VALUE your readership - whether you have just stumbled here on the off chance, or are a long term subscriber to my list.
Anyway, the reason for my troubles today is, as most of you may know, I am a disabled marketer - I have cerebal palsy (caused by a hospital blunder at birth) and some days although I am IMMENSELY driven, hardworking and ambitious - I get pain like you wouldn’t believe and just CANNOT be bothered!
This is why info-marketing is fantastic for my lifestyle as it gives me the freedom to have these “lazy-days” every now and then - or when need to.
My legs are detoriorating (so I have recently been told by my specialist) so over the recent weeks I have invested heavily, and have been focusing on building my business in the event of me needing to say “au revoir” for a few weeks or months.
I have literally “trialled” new outsourced staff from all over the world, systemitised my entire business, and created systems to “plug-in” literally ANYBODY, and successfully move my business forward (in all the critical leverage points too).
My chief content creator, Scott Siegel, has been working immensely hard to produce FANTASTIC training video’s, which are quite frankly AMAZING - and I am very confident in the coming weeks I will quite literally be able to leave the COMPLETE day to day runnings of my company The Ray Johnson Group in my staff’s more than capable hands.
So the moral of todays post?
Quite simply, from the outset - focus on BUILDING A BUSINESS, not just building a website - even if you have ZERO marketing experience it doesn’t matter, the bottom line is Internet Marketing IS a business and should be treated like one to enjoy business-like results!
Finally, I received an email and a call today from a guy in the States called:

Basically his television production company are looking to do an infomercial with me, based on my rise to success, and my personal story detailed in a recent press release so I shall keep you all informed when I know more…

Sorry to hear you’re so poorly….. I hope and pray that you won’t have to say “au revoir” and that we get to hear from you and keep on chatting for a long time to come still.
I’ve not had much time to integrate myself into all that you have to offer (time is limited)… but I do like what I see.
I’m actually sorry that I didn’t think to ask my daughter to call in to your offices when she was up in Nuneaton (Coventry) last week… she went to the Craft fair and had a fabulous time… I should have asked her to pop in.
Anyhow, I’m trying to build myself a list of prospects for this UK Property Crisis website, but I’m finding it very difficult to do, specially with no budget available right now for advetising, but I’m looking into all the tips you have on offer through your blogs and I’m sure I’ll find something that’ll help.
Just wanted to say, thanks for all the great stuff and input, all the sharing and tips.
I hope that you’ll get better and improve with your health situation…. you need to keep positive and stay positive… I know it’s not easy to do, but you must try (as I’m sure you know that already).

As for listbuilding tips here are a few that DON’T cost the earth:
1. Contact related websites in your niche, and ask them if you can offer a brandable “free leaked chapter” containing THEIR affiliate link to download to THEIR list, when their list members do so, make sure there is a link back to YOUR squeezepage inside - at the front and end.
2. Natural search: Optimise a squeeze page for the search engines, using carefully selected (niche) keywords that people are ACTUALLY typing into Google to find property related information, then - all this “free” traffic would land on your squeeze page and potentially hand over their name and email in return for good related info. Some short marks about your health:
1. There are many cases when cerebral palsy was treated via permanent physical exer-cises. Persons became fully functional people. One way is to drink “drugs”, other way – not seating on sofas, but to make permanent physical exercises.
2. Your specialist knows your body not so fine as you.
You must be your specialist. You must selfstudy medicine as you studied Internet mar-keting. On my experience specialists only disorientates a person. A person must itself struggle for its health, not becoming blind follower of a specialist, executing blindly every specialist’s prescription. This way is a hopeless way to hospital.
A person must not “drink” any drug till A person will get full its own version about this drug.
3. I have some ideology regarding medicine and can discuss such topics with you.
4. Your sites are very useful, on my opinion – your sites give a complete introduction to Internet marketing.

What a fantastic comment you made about specialists, I think you are right to a degree, they can kinda brainwash you.
As for excercise you are right there too, I have had 24 years of daily exercise, and should be in peak physical health.
There is a lesson to be learned coming from your post Victor, and the lesson is that your health is a CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR of Internet Marketing.
Keep yourself generally healthly in body, and you’ll see positive results in mind - thus showing in your business decisions and direction.

Bummer, no wonder you feel like not bothering, But I for one am glad you do keep going.
