EBay is the largest marketplace in the world. It is estimated that one-third of all internet traffic each month visits eBay. That is millions and millions of buyers and sellers. That is why you chose to become a seller on eBay, you wanted to take advantage of all that traffic. But you are one of millions of sellers vying for the attention of the customers on eBay. How do you set yourself apart from your competition? The answer is…
eBay Auction Templates…
I know when I am looking for something to buy on eBay, I want as much information as I can get about the item I am looking to buy. When I go to an auction and all that is on the page is the text description with some small pictures on the bottom, that doesn’t make me feel very secure in really knowing what I am getting.
If I visit a site that has easy to read headlines, easy to read descriptions, specific areas where I can find the shipping information and an easy to read guarantee with pictures throughout the auction ad, so I don’t have to keep scrolling down to see the pictures, I feel much more inclined to buy. An auction page that is laid out in an organized and easy to use manner makes it much easier for me to make a buying decision.
In order to get those great looking auction sales pages you have two choices. You can learn HTML, how to imbed pictures, how to use tables, how to move and nest tables, how to use java scripts and how to keep your page updated. Or… you can use an eBay template.
An eBay template is an auction page already programed and laid out for you. The work is already done. All you have to do is fill in the blanks, and put your picture locations into the template and you instantly have a great looking eBay auction that looks professional, that is easy to navigate, that clearly organizes and lays out the information that your customer wants to know.
If your customer wants to find your guarantee, there can be a big guarantee section with whatever guarantee logo you want. You can have a section where only the shipping information is listed and it is segregated from the description so your customer easily finds the shipping and all the other information he or she needs to make a buying decision.
You could even include a section with your positive feedback comments to show your customers how reputable you are and have it listed right in your auction where your customers can’t help but see it.
EBay templates allow you to have exactly the look and feel you want for your auction. Not only that but you can use two different templates and use one half the time and another one the other half of the time and see which one gets better results. When you find the one that works the best, you can test it against another one. You can keep improving your auction sales page by testing against another template.
To increase your sales on eBay, you need to have a professional looking auction page that is clearly organized and pictures integrated right into the page. The easiest and simplest way to do that is to use eBay templates. Using templates for your eBay business will seperate you from the other sellers on eBay and get you great sales results.
