You probably have had experience of this, I certainly did when I started out in I.M. The days will go by, possibly even weeks or months, with the same webpage sitting there, the same page that produced your first sale, but nothing else happens. Not a smidgen.

This is why it is SO important to “test-and-track” your results, using a conversion testing script.

If you were to begin testing and tracking, you could introduce “split-testing” which is basically comparing the performance of 2 or more webpages, based on a certain action. This action being the outcome you want the pages to achieve – in our case, a subscriber sign-up or a sale.

You could then make different variations of the page that sucks – wait a while, and INSTANTLY you have it in black and white which pages are the ‘daddy’ and which are not.
