It’s 12.00AM as I write this quick post, and the reason I am doing so is because of my health.

As my readers will know, I have a number of health and lifestyle issues and problems one of them being, I have cerebal palsy and use a wheelchair. Another is I have severe respiritory problems…

Today has been a BAD day for for me with my legs going into spasms and my breathing and lungs being tested by the muggy (hot) weather here in the UK so bad in fact I had to nip to the hospital to get a nebuliser treatment.

What’s this got to do with Internet Marketing?

Yes, a statement that is more commonly known in the “shady AKA – B.S.” side of Internet Marketing I know… but hold on on for a second – it IS actually a statement of FACT.

Let me explain…

So many people running Internet Marketing businesses fail to make $500.00 per month, and I’ll tell you why. The truth IS, either they have little or no money to invest into starting their business, they may HAVE the investment but invest in the wrong areas, OR they do these 2 things right – BUT FAIL to operate as a business once they have invested!

Let me simplify this a little. Most of us have had regular “J.O.B.S.” at some stage in our lives right? – and we may have realised that we were nothing but a number, an employee, a small cog in a big machine…

Whilst the directors of the company are sipping cocktails in the Bahamas, or ordering their new Ferrari – YOU are slaving away, doing monotonous jobs every single day – day in day out. Taking the small steps required to achieve the goal of their business.

- YOU and YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS have to operate the same way!

In order to build a successful online business you need to get lots of things done, like:

• Product Research
• Keyword Research
• Building A List
• Finding JV Partners
• Article Writing
• Product Creation
• Testing
• Blogging
• Social Networking
• Relationship Building
• Building Credibility
• and much more…

You’ll see from the above I have not covered ALL the areas required, as there are so many, my point is though, many of these tasks have to be done repeatedly over time – that help build traffic to your websites and build a list of prospects for example. Think of McDonalds Restaurant’s for a moment. The girl behind the counter who has obviously just left school, and won’t even clean her bedroom for her Mom and Dad, is working her butt-off making 50 burgers per hour! HOW?

Systemitisation… Systemitisation is simply breaking down ANY task into the segments that are required to complete it.

Lets look at the burger example:

• STEP 1: Place bottom bun down
• STEP 2: Add Patty
• STEP 3: Add Ketchup
• STEP 4: Add Cheese Slice
• STEP 5: Add Pickle
• STEP 6: Add Lettuce
• STEP 7: Add Onions
• STEP 8: Add Top Bun

Do you think YOU could make a McDonalds burger now? OF COURSE!

Combine systemitisation WITH outsourcing, and you are truly onto a winner. You can hire staff all over the world using sites like Elance, Rentacoder or Scriptlance – or do what I do… utilise the power of your biggest asset…

Because no special skills are required, as the tasks are step by step, it saves YOU (the business owner) training time, and most importantly – MONEY.

I know, probably NOT what you came here to read, but I had to let you know, because you’ll know I VALUE your readership – whether you have just stumbled here on the off chance, or are a long term subscriber to my list.

Anyway, the reason for my troubles today is, as most of you may know, I am a disabled marketer – I have cerebal palsy (caused by a hospital blunder at birth) and some days although I am IMMENSELY driven, hardworking and ambitious – I get pain like you wouldn’t believe and just CANNOT be bothered!

This is why info-marketing is fantastic for my lifestyle as it gives me the freedom to have these “lazy-days” every now and then – or when need to.

My legs are detoriorating (so I have recently been told by my specialist) so over the recent weeks I have invested heavily, and have been focusing on building my business in the event of me needing to say “au revoir” for a few weeks or months.

I have literally “trialled” new outsourced staff from all over the world, systemitised my entire business, and created systems to “plug-in” literally ANYBODY, and successfully move my business forward (in all the critical leverage points too).

My chief content creator, Scott Siegel, has been working immensely hard to produce FANTASTIC training video’s, which are quite frankly AMAZING – and I am very confident in the coming weeks I will quite literally be able to leave the COMPLETE day to day runnings of my company The Ray Johnson Group in my staff’s more than capable hands.

So the moral of todays post?

Quite simply, from the outset – focus on BUILDING A BUSINESS, not just building a website – even if you have ZERO marketing experience it doesn’t matter, the bottom line is Internet Marketing IS a business and should be treated like one to enjoy business-like results!

You really don’t need to be a computer wiz to be successful online.  Many of the most successful internet marketers don’t know how to set up a web page, upload a file or set up an autoresponder.  The difference between those successful marketers and the technology procrastinators is, the successful marketers did not let their lack of technical skills get in their way.

You many not know how to set up a web page or an autoresponder but you can find someone to do it for you.  There are a number of places on the web were you can find people who would love to do those things for you. This is often referred to as ‘outsourcing’.

Three of the most widely known outsourcing sites are rentacoder.com, scriptlance.com and elance.com.  Rentacoder.com is the place to go if you need software developed for a product, you need a modification of some software or you need files installed on your website.  There are almost 200,000 coders registered on rentacoder all ready to work for you.

Rentacoder works like a reverse auction.  In an auction you list your product and watch as buyers bid up the price.  Rentacoder is the opposite.  You list a project that you wish to have done and coders bid down on your project.  You can choose the lowest bid or another bid based on reputation.  Just like eBay has a rating system that helps you to determine good sellers and buyers, rentacoder has a rating system so you can find coders with good reputations.

Scriptlance is very much the same…

Elance.com is another popular outsourcing site.  Elance has a more broad based workforce.  You can find coders like on rentacoder that will write software and setup websites, but you can also find graphic designers, writers, sales and marketing experts, finance experts and even legal experts. 

Elance works similar to rentacoder and scriptlance.  Again, it is like a reverse auction.  You put out a project you want accomplished and elancers bid on the project.  Here too, there is a feedback system so you can get a good idea about anyone you may hire.

There are many other online resources for outsourcing work that you don’t know how to do or don’t want to do.  You just need to do some online research to find them. 

So now you know you don’t need to procrastinate for fear that you don’t know how to program in HTML or set up PHP pages or any other technological reason. You have the ability to get it done.  Make your dreams a reality.  Create your plan, outsource the projects you need to and start making money online!
