About Me
Thanks for visiting this page, if you want more about me – here it is:
I was born with what I now know may have been a hospital blunder, that has had a severe effect on the quality of life I lead, but has made me a much stronger person, for which I am grateful.
When I was born very premature, at 22 weeks and weighed LESS than 1lb, and during the birth my brain somewhere along the line, was irreversibly starved of oxygen, thus causing my disability Cerebal Palsy Spastic Quadraplegia.
(That’s a mouthful I know
From birth I had minimal use of all of my limbs at all and couldn’t walk.
Not only that – I developed breathing difficulties and had several apneoic attacks whilst in special care baby units. These attacks, were not monitored correctly by the nurses/doctors (we have the notes to prove it
and we feel this is how my disability came about, plus another number of discrepancies from doctors and nurses, such as notes saying I was delivered with forceps, and other notes saying “normal delivery”
(What gives?)
ANYWAY… moving on.
My father was very ill at the time of my birth and died shortly after, of a brain tumor – he didn’t stand a chance…
I didn’t know or can remember my Dad, but I knew as I had the odds stacked against me – I wasn’t going to lay down and die.
After years of physiotherapy daily, learning to sit up and balance on my own – even learning to swallow and have some speech therapy, I was determined to lead a normal life as possible.
At the age of 11 I was transferred from a “special-school” into a normal mainstream education based on “having something different up there” and this is when I saw the light of the real world for what was really the first time.
Fast forward my schooling years, I left school with 11 GCSE grades A-C and immediately went into employment (yes it’s is true lol) and I worked for several companies including:
Jaguar Cars (Vehicle Durability Tester)
British Telecom
Cahoot Bank
Coventry Magistrates Court
Comdisco Disaster Recovery
JS Chinn Aerospace Engineers
amongst other roles…
But I got bored of the whole 9-5 thing and wanted freedom. So I began going to night-schools and college business workshops and seminars run by The Princes Trust and Business Link.
I started my first venture soon afterwards, only to find that fail 18 months later due to lack of planning on my part. I learned many valuable lessons from this demise, which have helped me grow Web 3.0 Marketing to what it is today.
Since partnering up, the business has gone from strength to strength, and my family and I a comfortable, enjoyable, stress free life (although no amount of money or success, beats the stress of 4 little terrors
No-one who “get’s success” does it alone, I have many people to thank including:
John Thornhill – for showing me normal everyday guys can do this stuff…
MikeFilsaime.com (and Tom Beal) – for hooking me up with mentoring in I5 Gold
and hundreds more people probably!
Which brings me to my last comment. Anyone, with guidance can achieve what I have achieved, and I still have a long way to go to grow my business and achieve my dreams, we are ALL still learning every day. The key to success is taking the first step…
Away from my company, I am Liverpool Football Club’s BIGGEST fan
(I’m sure about 5 million people on the earth would claim otherwise though) I used to play Wheelchair Basketball for Coventry Crusaders, and I am a good Snooker and Pool player, with a high break of 63.
I have 4 great kids – Tom, Charlie, Bailey and Ellemae, aged from 9 months to 9 years (below) and my girlfriend who is a pillar of support to me and my business… love you.
I’d also like to thank my Mum for being simply the best, and my sisters for raising me with her, after my Father’s death – to be the positive person I am today – despite the obstacles I face in my life.
Think positive, take action, and the world really can be your oyster.
Thanks for reading…

Very, very inspiring Ray.
You were lucky to have been born with such a positive attitude. Just shows what can be achieved with the right frame of mind.
We have a similar geographical background. I live near you at Leamington Spa, and my Father came from Gateshead.
Good luck with everything you do.
John

Hi Ray,
You are one amazing person (found you on Twitter BTW)
I live in Woking, Surrey and my step son Paul who is 22, has Cerebral Palsy too, and requires 24/7 care.
I’m working towards an online income so that I can be at home and not away when we have the occasional hospital stays with Paul.
I’ve bookmarked your Blog, and subsrcibed
you have some great information to share.
Take care

Hi there Ray,
You really are an inspiration. I have followed you for a while now and always enjoy listening to your thoughts (no fluff just good old content!).
Well, I also now owe you a HUGE thank you!
I joined Clickbank back in Sep 2009 and have dabbled on and off since then with absolutely no joy whatsoever!! Nil Zilch Nada
I joined your affiliate program last week and have just woken up this morning to my first EVER money in my Clickbank account – $79
I cannot beging to tell you how amazing it feels.
I have been online full time for a year mixed with being the carer for our autistic lad Charlie and it has been an uphill struggle.
Thanks to my grit, determination, confidence in my own abilities and the never failing support from my wonderful wife Debs (from Birmingham ironically!!) I have started to see some success.
Thanks for being an inspiration and I wish you and your lovely family EVERY continued success.

Wow! What an incredible journey you have had. I admire your sheer guts to forge forward in your life considering your physical limitations. You are obviously a VERY sharp guy. It’s lovely you have wonderful people around you to support you and I’m sure those 4 little ones keep you “On your toes” (so to speak.) I’ve bookedmarked your blog and put my name and email for the free download.
One question Ray. For the special offer on for this weekend only, the 10 videos for AdSwapMasterClass. Will this be of any use to me as a total Newbie with a ZERO list ???? Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! All the best.

Hello Ray . . . or ‘Ayup’ as we say here in South Yorkshire.
I just wanted to drop you a line or 2 because I’ve been so impressed by what you’ve achieved.
I was introduced to your ClickBank Stealth product by John Thornhill (top bloke) and I think it’s one of the best products I’ve seen in a long time and I’ve seen a few I can tell you.
The more I find out about you the more I’m impressed and I’ve just been reading your blog posts tonight with interest. You’ve achieved so much with the odds stacked against you and so kudos to you Ray
I’m currently in the middle of creating my first IM product in the make money niche although I’ve been into IM for the past 10 years in some form.
Anyway, great blog, keep up the good work

Ray:
Wow, what a powerful story. You are a very strong person and I am so happy to have come in contact with you. I have sold guitars on Ebay for about 10 years now, as my family owns a retail music store. With the economy in the tank, our music business sales have basically dropped to the worst level in our 35 years in business. I am looking to sell something that is easier to sell and makes a good profit also. We lost our daughter very suddenly and totally unexpectedly, and since her loss, I have been trying to start a internet business so I can spend more time with my family, and E-Books seems like a good niche. I look forward to a profitable business relationship with you. Take Care, Sam
